Description:
Dürrnkogel is 1387 meter high peak in the Hochschwab Mountains. The peak is located 3 km east from the center of Hieflau and 5 km south-southeast from the center of Mooslandl. The nearest mountain hut is Kroisen Alm, located 8km west. A bit closer is bivouac Wandau Kapelle, which is located 3km to the west-northwest. 7 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Leopoldsteiner See. The peak is located south of the valley Frenzgraben.
