Description:
Wintersattel is a saddle at an altitude of 1060 meters and is part of the Hochschwab Mountains. The saddle is located 4 km east from the center of Hieflau and 5 km south-southeast from the center of Mooslandl. The nearest mountain hut is Ennstaler Hütte, located 9km west. A bit closer is bivouac Jassingau Forsthaus, which is located 3km to the south. 6 km southeast of the saddle there is lake Leopoldsteiner See. The saddle is located south-southeast of the valley Frenzgraben.
