Erlakogel is 1575 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Upper Austrian Prealps. The peak is located 4 km north of peak Eibenberg. The nearest mountain hut is Gasselhütte, located 1.4km east-northeast. Spitzlsteinalm is a bit further away. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Weißenbachtal.
