Faistenauer Schafberg

Description:
Faistenauer Schafberg is 1559 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 3 km south from the center of Tiefbrunnau and 4 km north-northeast from the center of Hintersee. The nearest mountain hut is Arnikahütte, located 3km east-southeast. A bit closer is Lanznhütte, which is located 0.7km to the southwest. 7 km north-northwest of the peak there is lake Fuschlsee. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Klausbach.
