The nearest mountain hut is Latschenalm Krispl-Gaißau, located 4km southwest. A bit closer is Lanznhütte, which is located 2km to the east-southeast. 6 km north of the peak there is lake Fuschlsee. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Klausbach.
