Description:
Rannberg is 1366 meter high peak in the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 3 km west of peak Faistenauer Schafberg and west-severowest above the mountain pasture Stegeralm. The nearest mountain hut is Latschenalm Krispl-Gaißau, located 4km southwest. A bit closer is Lanznhütte, which is located 2km to the east-southeast. 6 km north of the peak there is lake Fuschlsee. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Klausbach.
