The peak is located 1.1 km south-southwest from the center of Vordersee and 3 km south-southwest from the center of Ramsau and 2 km east of peak Ochsenberg. The nearest mountain hut is Latschenalm Krispl-Gaißau, located 3km south. A little further is Jagdhütte. 7 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Fuschlsee. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Klausbach.
