The peak is located in country Austria 3 km southwest from the center of Vordersee and 3 km north-northeast from the center of Gaißau. The nearest mountain hut is Spielbergalm (Gollegg), located 1.4km south. And Jagdhütte is also close by. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Klausbach.
