Description:
Floning is 1583 meter high peak with a registration box and a cross and is part of the Hochschwab Mountains. The peak is located 3 km east from the center of Hüttengraben and 4 km east-northeast from the center of Sankt Katharein an der Laming. The nearest mountain hut is Lengger Alm, located 8km northwest. A bit closer is Floninghütte, which is located 3km to the east-southeast. The peak is located south of the valley Höllgraben.
