Föllbaumkogel is 1494 meter high peak and is part of the Mürzsteg Alps. The peak is located 4 km southwest from the center of Frein an der Mürz and 6 km northwest from the center of Mürzsteg. The nearest mountain hut is Königsalm, located 1.0km west-southwest. A little further is Pegelmessstelle. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Innerer Krampengraben.
