Golobja peč is 1351 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 4 km north-northwest of peak Veliki vrh (Križ) and jugovzhodno above the mountain pasture Virnikova planina. The nearest mountain hut is Bivak Močnikova planina, located 2km west-southwest. Closer is bivouac Lovska koča Stanič, which is located 1.9km to the west-northwest. Southeast of the summit is the valley Makekova kočna.
