Greinberg is 846 meter high peak and is part of the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 1.8 km southeast from the center of Schöllgraben and 1.9 km north from the center of Gruft. The nearest mountain hut is Grüntalkogelhütte, located 11km east-northeast. Closer is Jausenstadl, which is located 8km to the north-northwest. West of the summit is the valley Ewixengraben.
