The peak is located in country Austria 3 km south-southeast from the center of Eck and 4 km northeast from the center of Bad Goisern. The nearest mountain hut is Rathlucken Hütte, located 2km southwest. bivouac Lauffen Ort is a bit further away. The peak is located south of the valley Rettenbachtal.
