Description:
Großes Gurpitscheck is 2526 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 3 km north-northeast from the center of Tweng and 6 km southeast from the center of Obertauern. The nearest mountain hut is Granglerhütte, located 3km north-northeast. A little further is Graggaberhütte. 0.6 km northeast of the peak there is lake Oberer Rupaninsee. The peak is located south-southwest of the valley Obertal.
