Description:
Großwand is 2415 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 1.0 km north of peak Große Bischofsmütze. The nearest mountain hut is Hofpürglhütte, located 2km south. Lederingalm is a bit further away. 7 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Großer Gosaugletscher. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Preunegg.
