The peak is located 4 km south-southwest from the center of Steyrling and 7 km south-southwest from the center of Klaus an der Pyhrnbahn. The nearest mountain hut is Ahornalmhütte, located 6km west-northwest. Closer is bivouac Kniewas Habach, which is located 4km to the east.
