Description:
Hansbauermauer is 1291 meter high peak and is part of the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 3 km west from the center of Gußwerk and 4 km southwest from the center of Rasing. The nearest mountain hut is Tonionhütte, located 8km east-southeast. A bit closer is Farnbodenhütte, which is located 2.0km to the north-northwest. 6 km north of the peak there is lake Erlaufsee. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Mühlgraben.
