Description:
Hegerberg is 655 meter high peak and is part of the Vienna Woods. The peak is located in country Austria 2 km south from the center of Kasten bei Böheimkirchen and 3 km southeast from the center of Fahrafeld. The nearest mountain hut is Gföhlberghütte, located 8km south-southeast. A little further is Jagdhütte. Southeast of the summit is the valley Triestingtal.
