Description:
Hintere Karlspitze is 2279 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Kaiser Mountains. The peak is located 1.1 km east-northeast of peak Ellmauer Halt. The nearest mountain hut is Stripsenjochhaus, located 1.4km north-northwest. Even closer is bivouac Babenstuberhütte, which is located 1.2km to the west-southwest. 0.6 km north from the summit there is glacier Schneeloch, 0.7 km north from the summit there is also glacier Falsches Schneeloch.
