Description of mountain:
Sonntagshorn is the highest peak of the Chiemgau Alps. It lies on the German-Austrian border, between Bavaria and Tyrol. The south side is covered by dwarf pines and grasses that reach all the way to the summit, while to the north it precipices with a steep 600-meter wall. In winter, it is a popular ski touring peak.
