Hinterer Heuberg is 2578 meter high peak and is part of the Samnaun Alps. The peak is located 5 km west from the center of Tösens and 5 km north from the center of Pfunds. The nearest mountain hut is Heuberghütte, located 1.2km southwest. bivouac Wohlfühlstation Falterjöchl is also relatively close. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Oberinntal.
