Hirschkopf is 1193 meter high peak in the Prealps East of the Mur. The peak is located 3 km southeast from the center of Langenwang and 3 km south-southeast from the center of Pichlwang. The nearest mountain hut is Kressbachalmhütte, located 4km south. A little further is Gutschelhofer Hütte. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Glawockengraben.
