Description:
Hochkogel is 1134 meter high peak in the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 4 km east from the center of Neuhaus and 5 km west-southwest from the center of Mitterbach-Seerotte. The nearest mountain hut is Terzerhaus, located 2km north-northeast. A little further is Farnbodenhütte. 2 km east of the peak there is lake Erlaufsee.
