Hochkogel is 751 meter high peak in the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 4 km east-southeast from the center of Pockau and 4 km east from the center of Gaming. The nearest mountain hut is Ötscherschutzhaus, located 8km south-southeast. Closer is hunting cottage Jagdhütte Plätzen, which is located 5km to the west. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Klausgraben.
