Description:
Hochplanberg is 2229 meter high peak in the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The peak is located 9 km southwest from the center of Hinterstoder and 10 km north-northeast from the center of Tauplitz. The nearest mountain hut is Linzer Tauplitz-Haus, located 7km south-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Jagdhütte, which is located 3km to the northeast.
