The approach starts at the Großalm bus stop and first leads a bit past the Aurach over the Taferlklausee. Then it goes up the Spielbergstraße until branching off to a Jägersteig, at the end of which the sparsely to unmarked Franz-Scheckenberger-Steig awaits.
