Hoher Plattkogel is 2791 meter high peak in the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 5 km south-southwest from the center of Kühtai and 6 km north-northeast from the center of Niederthai. The nearest mountain hut is Schweinfurter Hütte, located 3km southeast. A little further is Jagdhütte. 9 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Gleirscher Ferner.
