Hühnerbergkopf is 2640 meter high peak and is part of the Samnaun Alps. The peak is located 5 km south-southwest from the center of Kappl and 6 km east-northeast from the center of Ischgl. The nearest mountain hut is Niederelbehütte, located 5km northwest. A little further is Blanka Jagdhütte. 7 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Kartellferner. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Fimbatal.
