Hühnerkogel is 450 meter high peak in the Vienna Woods. The peak is located 1.3 km east-northeast from the center of Mayerling and 1.4 km west-southwest from the center of Heiligenkreuz. The nearest mountain hut is Schutzhaus Eisernes Tor, located 5km south-southeast. Closer is Kassahäuschen, which is located 3km to the west. Southeast of the summit is the valley Helenental.
