Description:
Jegartkogel is 1263 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 2 km south from the center of Sielach/Sele and 3 km south-southeast from the center of Sittersdorf/Žitara vas. The nearest mountain hut is Wackendorfer Alm, located 8km east. Closer is bivouac Vogelbeobachtungshütte, which is located 6km to the north. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Rosental.
