Jufen is 1802 meter high peak and is part of the Gurktal Alps. The peak is located 2 km north-northeast from the center of Sappl and 3 km north from the center of Matzelsdorf. The nearest mountain hut is Lammersdorfer Hütte, located 0.9km northwest. Heinz Günther Hütte is also relatively close. 5 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Lake Millstatt. South of the summit is the valley Gegendtal.
