Kamp is 877 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 3 km northeast from the center of Seefeld and 3 km north-northeast from the center of Steinbach am Attersee. The nearest mountain hut is Rieder Hütte, located 10km southeast. A bit closer is Brünnerstüberl (Jhtt.), which is located 0.6km to the northeast. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Weißenbachtal.
