Kleiner Otter is 1327 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Prealps East of the Mur. The peak is located 1.8 km west of peak Großer Otter. The nearest mountain hut is Pollereshütte, located 2km west. A little further is Knollhütte (Jhtt.). South of the summit is the valley Talergraben.
