Description:
Kočevnik is 652 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.2 km east-northeast from the center of Gornje Ležeče and 2.0 km north from the center of Buje. The nearest mountain hut is Okrepčevalnica, located 4km northwest. A little further is bivouac Koča pri Lipi. The peak is located south-southeast of the valley Vipavska dolina. The peak is located above Kras.
