The nearest mountain hut is Mühlbacherhütte, located 8km west. Closer is Eddi´s Holzhackerhütte, which is located 2km to the southwest. 0.5 km north-northwest of the peak there is lake Hochwasserbecken. The peak is located northwest of the valley Annengraben.
