Koppenstein

Description:
Koppenstein is 1123 meter high peak in the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 2 km north-northeast from the center of Oberburgau and 3 km northwest from the center of Unterach and 0.9 km west of peak Hochplettspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Buchberghütte, located 3km south. Closer is bivouac Unterstand Hochplett, which is located 1.9km to the east. 6 km west of the peak there is lake Mondsee. The peak is located north of the valley Klausbach.
