Kožjek is 1052 meter high peak. The peak is located 4 km southeast of peak Veliki Javornik. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom na Slivnici, located 8km northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Lovska koča, which is located 1.9km to the north-northwest. 8 km southwest of the peak there is lake Palško jezero. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Bloke.
