Sveta Trojica

Description of mountain:
Sveta Trojica is a panoramic peak located southwest of the Javorniki. From the summit, where well-preserved ruins of a former church stand, there is a nice view over the Notranjska hills, with the undulating peaks of Javornik standing out. In good weather the Dolomites are visible between Vremščica and Nanos, the Julian Alps (with Triglav as the highest) slightly to the right, and the Karawanks to the north.
Sveta Trojica is also known for Martin Krpan, who came from these parts.
