Description:
Kreuzkogel is 3338 meter high peak in the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located 7 km southwest from the center of Vent and 8 km north from the center of Vernagt - Vernago. The nearest mountain hut is Martin-Busch-Hütte, located 2km east-southeast. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 0.6 km north from the summit there is glacier Kreuzferner, 3 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Hochjochferner. The peak is located southwest of the valley Venter Tal. The peak is located on the ridge Kreuzkamm.
