Description:
Kropfkogel is 628 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 2.0 km west from the center of Wiesen and 2 km south-southeast from the center of Unterkriech. The nearest mountain hut is Gmundner Hütte, located 12km southeast. Closer is bivouac Rutzenmoos Hinterbuch Bundesstraße, which is located 1.1km to the north. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Weißenbachtal.
