Kronberg is 815 meter high peak with a cross and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 3 km north of peak Gmundnerberg. The nearest mountain hut is Traunsteinhaus, located 10km southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Pinsdorf Bahnhst (Vöcklabrucker Straße), which is located 2km to the east. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Weißenbachtal.
