Description:
Lorchenspitz - Cima Lorchen is 3347 meter high peak and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 8 km west from the center of Sankt Gertraud - Santa Gertrude and 9 km south from the center of Thal. The nearest mountain hut is Höchsterhütte am Grünsee - Rifugio Canziani al Lago Verde, located 3km east. A little further is bivouac Baito Sasso Vecchio. 4 km west-northwest of the peak there is lake Zufritt-Stausee - Lago di Gioveretto. 2 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Zufrittferner - Vedretta di Gioveretto, 3 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Soyferner - Vedretta di Soi. Southwest of the summit is the valley Val di Rabbi.
