Sallentjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 2965 meters and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The saddle is located 1.3 km southwest of peak Salentspitz - Cima di Saent. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Silvio Dorigoni, located 2km southeast. A little further is bivouac Baito Sasso Vecchio. 3 km north-northwest of the saddle there is lake Zufritt-Stausee - Lago di Gioveretto. 3 km west-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Ultenmarktferner - Vedretta Ultima, 5 km northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Zufrittferner - Vedretta di Gioveretto. The saddle is located above the valley Val di Rabbi.
