Schranspitz - Cima Serana is 2888 meter high peak and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 2 km north of peak Cima Venezia - Veneziaspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Martellerhütte - Rifugio Martello, located 1.6km west-southwest. And Julius Payer Stadl is also close by. 4 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Zufritt-Stausee - Lago di Gioveretto. 1.5 km south from the summit there is glacier Ultenmarktferner - Vedretta Ultima, 7 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Rosimferner - Vedretta di Rosim.
