Lungauer Kalkspitze is 2471 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 6 km east-northeast from the center of Obertauern and 9 km north from the center of Tweng. The nearest mountain hut is Giglachsee Hütte, located 1.4km northeast. bivouac Knappenstube is also relatively close. Northeast of the summit is the valley Obertal.
