Maresenspitz is 2915 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km east-northeast from the center of Stappitz and 5 km east-northeast from the center of Mallnitz and 4 km west of peak Säuleck. The nearest mountain hut is Dösner Hütte, located 3km southeast. A little further is Lubitzhütte. 4 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Kälberspitzkees, 7 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Großelendkees. The peak is located in the valley Seebachtal.
