Metulov vrh is 815 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 3 km northwest of peak Smodivnik. The nearest mountain hut is Dom na Paškem Kozjaku, located 6km southeast. A little further is hunting cottage Lovska koča L.D. Golavabuka. 7 km southwest of the peak there is lake Družimirsko jezero. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Mislinjski jarek.
