Pogorevški vrh is 734 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 2 km north of peak Metulov vrh. The nearest mountain hut is Dom na Paškem Kozjaku, located 7km southeast. A little further is hunting cottage Lovska koča L.D. Golavabuka. 8 km southwest of the peak there is lake Družimirsko jezero. East of the summit is the valley Mislinjski jarek.
