Sončni vrh is 714 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 2 km southwest from the center of Dovže and 3 km south from the center of Brda. The nearest mountain hut is Grmovškov dom pod Veliko Kopo, located 8km northeast. A bit closer is hunting cottage Lovska koča L.D. Golavabuka, which is located 5km to the north-northeast. The peak is located west of the valley Mislinjski jarek.
