Mittagskogel is 1627 meter high peak and is part of the Gailtal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 3 km south from the center of Gröfelhof and 4 km east-northeast from the center of Laas. The nearest mountain hut is Ploneralm, located 2km south-southeast. A bit closer is Dellacher Alm, which is located 1.5km to the south. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Oberes Drautal.
