Mittlerer Sattelkopf is 2320 meter high peak and is part of the Samnaun Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 1.2 km south of peak Zwölferkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Kölner Haus, located 3km south-southwest. A little further is Landecker Skihütte. The peak is located northwest of the valley Oberinntal.
